Some extensions of Thuban are compiled and thus linked with specific version of external libraries like wxPython. IIRC, Thuban (i.e. shapelib in this case) does not consider the prj-files. By default it uses geographic coordinates. Can you check with the Table feature whether you can see the attributes of the layers? Which version of Thuban are you using on why system? Thuban needs to be rebuild. First step: look into the packages status in Debian: http://packages.qa.debian.org/t/thuban.html OK, seems, there is no update coming soon down to testing. Else (unless you go for the source from SVN) you can build the package anew from the Debian sources: apt-get build-dep thuban apt-get source thuban and the build the new package and install it. Nice, thanks for reporting. We hope that Thuban is useful for you! If you happen to have a chance, we are also very interested in your feedback to 1.1.0 on windows. ;) (I have just added a pointer to the webpages that points to the download section on the thuban.wald.intevation.org pages.) It just does not display in the map. Also, this behavior is consistent in version 1.0.0, and 1.0.1. By the way, I just wanted to say that I think Thuban is a FANTASTIC tool. Thank you for having made it. I dislike being tied to proprietary software to work with GIS data. -- On 5/19/06, Bernhard Reiter wrote: > > Am 19.
