It is now available from our ftp server. The web pages are slightly updated as well. Changes from 0.5 to 0.6 primarily address documentation and installation. So if you have already MapIt! running, there is no immediate need to update. For the next release we plan to further improve installation, but also slightly extend MapIt!. One further feature will be a configurable icon and/or text that will always be printed into one corner of the map. The main purpose of this is to 'burn' in a copyright notice on the map which is required for some data such as from Teleatlas. Any comments are welcome! Ohne weiteres. Allerdings sollten die Punkte nicht als shapefile sondern als normale Text-Datei vorliegen (die Konvertierung ist ja ziemlich einfach). Die Demos f?r Berlin abreiten im Prinzip genauso. Wir haben eine POI-Liste, also (x,y)-Koordinaten inklusive Namen und Raster-Karten auf verschiedenen Zoom-Stufen. Man kann MapIt! auch so konfigurieren, dass es einen aus einer Liste ausgew?hlten Punkt direkt anspringt. Das Imaging C Module ist eine Datei namens "_imaging.dll", die bei PIL dabei ist. Damit Python sie finden kann, mu? sie in einem Verzeichnis liegen, das in Pythons Suchpfad ist (unabh?ngig von Windows' PATH !). Welchen Suchpfad python verwendet kann man an der Kommandozeile z.B. mit python -c "import sys; print sys.path" feststellen (da? die Backslashes in der Ausgabe alle doppelt sind ist OK). Bei mir liegt _imaging.dll z.B. in C:\Programme\Python\DLLs. Bei Dir w?re das wahrscheinlich c:\WASI\Python\DLLs. Alternativ kann die DLL auch direkt ins PIL-Verzeichnis gepackt werden, sogar wenn PIL.pth nicht vorhanden ist und das PIL-Verzeichnis selbst nicht in sys.path ist. In the newest version of PIL, the tk specific part has been put into a separate module whic is only loaded when a python program tries to use the tk-binding of PIL. Version Schuld am Nichtgelinegn hat. Jetzt sieht das immer noch so aus, da? wenn ich diesen Ausdruck "http://LOCALHOST/cgi-bin/showmap" eingebe, der Rahmen etc. geladen wird, aber nicht die Karte. Ich habe die Umgebungsvariable f?r den Python Pfad in meiner autoexec.bat aufgenommen, half nicht. mein Apache error.log sagt wahlweise : -"No such file or directory: couldn't spawn child process: c:/wasi/cgi-bin/genmap " oder aber: -" File does not exist: c:/wasi/htdocs/project.ini" (Was ich ?berhaupt nicht verstehe...) Blicke so langsam nicht mehr durch... Also, das Ganze hat ja sehr wahrscheinlich etwas mit diesem import image Befehl im script genmap zu tun, aber was, das bringt mich doch leicht zur Verzweiflung... Au?er Apache l?uft bei mir noch Python und tcl. Was ist denn mit dem tcl? Mu? das denn laufen? Mu? Python (permanent) laufen? A program group is created containing a 'Start MapIt!' item. This one will launch the built-in Python web server.
