All over the world Intevation offers GIS services based on Free Software.

Intevation implements a broad range of individual GIS solutions. They vary from browser based navigation on digital maps (webmapping) and specialized desktop applications to location based services (LBS) with spatial databases and Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI).

• Web GIS: Interactive Maps in the WWW
  Digital maps in the Web range from simple solutions for the visualisation of spatial data (Web mapping) to specialized application that can be called Web-GIS solutions. They enable for exemple the user to digitize and manage data through a simple webbrowser.

• SDI: Spatial Data Infrastructures
  The term Spatial Data Infrastructure means more to us than making data available via various services. We include the compilation of data, their maintenance as well as the incorporation of special applications. With our solutions we cover the whole bandwith of the SDI topics, ranging from concept developments over implementations up to support and training. Standards compliance (OGC, ISO) and vendor independence is the credo of our solutions.

• PostGIS
  Professional Support / Enterprise Support
  Intevation GmbH supports the operation of your PostGIS application professionally. We offer individual preparation and maintenance of PostGIS installation packages as well as help with commissioning of updates. Optionally, PostgreSQL and GEOS are supported as well.

• MapServer
  Professional Support / Enterprise Support
  Intevation GmbH supports the operation of your MapServer application professionally. We offer individual preparation and maintenance of MapServer installation packages as well as help with commissioning of updates. Optionally, GDAL and PROJ are supported as well.
